Governor Hogan Announces Next Stage Re-openings, Including Indoor Dining and Outdoor Amusements

Yesterday, Governor Larry Hogan announced that Maryland would be moving into a new phase of reopening. Beginning on Friday at 5 p.m., indoor dining can resume at 50% capacity, following strict public health guidelines. Outdoor amusements, such as mini golf and go-kart courses, will be allowed to open. Pools can also increase capacity to 50%.

         On June 19th, restrictions will further be lifted on indoor gyms, dance studios, and other fitness businesses can begin reopening at 50% capacity, while arcades, malls, and casinos will be allowed to open with strict safety protocols. Gatherings of more than 10 people are no longer prohibited.

         This represents a big step as we look to get back into the swing of things. While the fight against covid-19 is far from over, we continue to move in the right direction. Please click here for the executive order:
