After making great progress dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic over the course of a few months, we are starting to see an uptick in Maryland. After seeing a lot of the data trending downward since April, we have now seen a week straight of increases in cases and hospitalizations.
As it stands, Maryland is closing in on 80,000 cases, with almost 3,500 deaths. In Baltimore County, we are almost at 10,000 cases, with over 500 deaths. This isn’t going to go away unless we all do our part. So please wear masks when out in public, maintain social distancing, and wash your hands thoroughly.
